Modern luthier Duane Brewer was one of the first students of the violin making and repair program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked with Paul Schuback at Schuback Violin Shop, Inc. for six years before establishing his own shop in Oregon. Since relocating to San Antonio, Texas, he has continued his craft of making fine violins.
