Leatherwood Bespoke Rosin
for violin, viola, cello and bass
About Leatherwood Bespoke Rosin
Leatherwood Bespoke Rosin offers set recipes designed for each individual instrument with tonal and articulation qualities tailored for each performer’s preferences
Bespoke Range: Supple and Crisp formulas for violin, viola and cello
Supple: a warmer and softer sound that feels velvety and rich while maintaining a reliably sharp attack on the string. The Supple blend can also provide more resonance to a warm instrument while having the ability to soften an instrument that is too loud or bright.
Crisp: a rosin with a decisive, pronounced attack with firm traction and a glassy texture. The Crisp blend can provide greater clarity and articulation to very resonant instruments.
The Amber Range for Bass: helps double bass players find the exact combination of stickiness, grip, traction & lyrical quality to suit their playing needs.
30%: similar to Nyman’s. A harder rosin with some bite.
50%: similar to Pop’s. A softer and stickier rosin that provides more traction and bite.
EcoRosin: a vegan, biodegradable, recyclable rosin that strives to leave zero carbon-footprint on our planet. Available for violin, viola and cello.
The materials used to make the rosin are natural, rare, unique, and beautiful. From the Australian specialty timber and the deer leather wrapping to the hand-distilled Australian pine resin.
Leatherwood rosin is crafted to last. The company estimates 2-5 years of high-frequency usage and 5-10 years of irregular use from each cake.
