Born in the notable violin-making town of Zakopane, Poland, Pawel Migiel demonstrated an interest in violin from a young age. He is one of the most accomplished apprentices of the contemporary Polish luthier Wojciech Topa. Like his teacher, his instruments are based on the Italian models of Guarneri, Stradivari, and Goffriller. They have received international praise for their depth of sound in the lower registers and brilliance in the upper registers.
