Polish-born Bronek Cison has been hailed as one of today’s foremost luthiers. He trained under luthier Andrzej Bednarski and worked in his own shop in Poland for ten years before receiving an invitation to take up residence with William Harris Lee & Co. in Chicago. There, he works alongside luthiers Tetsuo Matsuda and William Whedbee. His instruments, praised for their rich tone and exceptional sound, are played by members of the Dallas and Chicago Symphonies. He is highly regarded for his viola designs.
